Cindy Kawamura

Cindy has had an interest in different spiritual paths since childhood and finally came to yoga when she took her first Hatha yoga class in Maui, Hawaii in 2008.

Wanting to study yoga at a deeper level, and having also a passion for traveling, she enrolled in a Tantric Hatha yoga school on the island of Koh Phangan, Thailand in 2011.  Since then Cindy has practiced and trained with international teachers and yoga studios around the world in a variety of yoga styles and traditions from Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Hot Yoga, and Restorative Yoga.

Cindy completed her Yoga Alliance certified RYT-200hr Vinyasa teacher training course with Shades of Yoga in Bali in 2014.  In 2017 in Mexico she earned her 300hr Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher training with Yoga Veda Institute.  There she learned the Sivananda style of Hatha Yoga.  In addition, she is certified to teach Yin Yoga, as well as Yoga Nidra as taught by Dr. Marc Halpern of the Ayurveda College.  Along her yogic path, Cindy discovered yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda and is now working on her Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist diploma course with the Yoga Veda Institute. Cindy has made it her life work to share yoga and Ayurveda Medicine.  She teaches classes and workshops around the world so that others may also learn how to bring peace, balance, self-love, universal love, and healing in their lives.
